Re: Writing Good SWAT Kats Fanfiction: Staying In Character

Ah, very good analysis. Wardens do have pull by default AFAIK, they can't TELL the board what to do but they're the person the board looks to for information about whether the prisoner shows signs of being worth parole. It's possible Meece discussed it with the board prior to talking to Shard. Now I...

Re: Writing Good SWAT Kats Fanfiction: Staying In Character

Heh, this reminds me of just how little backstory most of the characters have. 22 minute eps with at least half of that devoted to flashy action sequences. Maybe 2 minutes for back story per ep?

Re: Writing Good SWAT Kats Fanfiction: Staying In Character

And now I have to wonder how long the Pastmaster has actually been alive. Also while he's obviously undead, we don't know how the rules for that work in this universe. Which could mean we don't actually know what kind of undead he is either. But yeah, he treats that watch the same way a wizard treat...

Re: The Pastmaster's Watch...

Given that the hands are the same size... I'm not sure they cared. But yeah, real pocket watches were 1/4 that size.

Also given how many eps have a villain of the week format.... I'd be willing to bet that the villains were made up while writing the episodes.

I picked Turmoil just because she's not as one-note as most of the others.

Re: Unanswered Questions

Katalyst 99 sounds like it might be an industrial chemical. Something analogous to paint stripper but a bit more volatile. Maybe something they use in refining agricite? 96... we actually have no idea. Maybe it is an agent to facilitate hybridizing species? Wait that's more disturbing than the idea ...

Re: Thundarr the Barbarian

Yeah it was at times extremely idiosyncratic. In several episodes you see a variety of rather small things that were leftovers from before the cataclysm, but would a steel trashcan really last 1000 years? Especially if it's laying on the ground outside? It did a reasonably good job of showing why th...
