He could be raised from the dead and become Zombie Zyme.

Well, maybe not.

Re: How closely should a rebooted Swat Kats follow the original story?

The thing with him, and why I guess I owe an apology to Ocelot, is I always found his the cruelest of the deaths in the show and it's been a sore spot with me for years. As noted elsewhere, if The Giant Bacteria had been his only appearance, I wouldn't really care, but he got so much character deve...

Re: How closely should a rebooted Swat Kats follow the original story?

Kooshmeister suggesting not killing off Dr. Zyme is an example. :) Thank you. At least someone else agrees with me. ZymeIcon I just used that example because that's the sort of thing I wanted the thread to focus on. If they keep Zyme around, that would be deviating from the original show because he...

Re: How closely should a rebooted Swat Kats follow the original story?

We could easily talk at length about new things the show could add, or ways they could develop existing characters. For the purposes of this thread though I was mainly interested to know whether the new show should do anything differently from the original, i.e. rewrite certain parts or retcon anyth...

Comic Cons?

I have the opportunity to attend a Comic Con. Normally I'm not much into comics per se (aside from a few webcomics), but I like to keep an open mind to new things. If you've gone to one of these, do you feel it was worth it? If so, what were some of the highlights of your experience?

Re: How closely should a rebooted Swat Kats follow the original story?

A lot of people frown on retconning for a number of very good reasons. It can be cheap and upset a story's continuity. At the same time there may be some aspects of the show that either need to be cleaned up or just rethought in general. Or just updated. Like the technological stuff. Megakat City is...

Re: How closely should a rebooted Swat Kats follow the original story?

Since there is talk about rebooting the series Who said that and when? Christian Tremblay clearly stated at Anime Matsuri they want the new show to be a continuation of the original, not a reboot. Or did they change their plan? Oh he did? I probably just missed when he said that. Well, carry on. :)

How closely should a rebooted Swat Kats follow the original story?

Since there is talk about rebooting the series, has anyone discussed whether they would rewrite some elements of the original story? More specifically, how closely should the new show follow the original? Put it this way - if you are trying to reboot Star Trek, DuckTales, RoboCop, or any franchise l...
