I'm with you on consistency. Minor things like coloring can be forgiven if it's close enough, but all you mentioned, that just feels lazy, or possibly rushed through multiple artists and they didn't get the same memo.

Re: How closely should a rebooted Swat Kats follow the original story?

Thing with villains is: they have ways to avoid being killed, usually. Dr. Viper can (likely) regenerate, the Metallikats are remarkably durable and have Hackle to rebuild them, Pastmaster is a lich with time magic, and Dark Kat has fail-safes for his fail-safes so killing him is more a matter of h...

Re: Megakat City's New Benefactor

I imagine Manx calling Callie in and showing her the check, and pulling a Danny DeVito from Twins. 'I mean, just say it ! Fifty mmmillion dollars!' He'd parade that check around before cashing it, praising himself for 'Talking Miss Moorkroft into such a generous donation' like it was a life or death...

Re: How closely should a rebooted Swat Kats follow the original story?

Auto-correct sucks (it just suggested 'ducks' when I wrote sucks, for example). Never have I found a reason to text or otherwise write 'ducking', when I refer to a game being of consistently poor quality (In other words, sucking. Vampire Rain, worst game since ET (Auto-correct switched in SAT for th...

Re: How closely should a rebooted Swat Kats follow the original story?

The story could definitely take a little more of the run-time, for me. Not a lot more, but enough to build the world up, give a good lore to really dig into. Overall, things just usually reverted to status quo too often, and nothing really changed. Story arcs are becoming the norm, so I say go for i...

Re: S2E03 - When Strikes Mutilor

Definitely one of my favorites. Aside from just generally being a good episode, I like a bad guy that's big, has a commanding presence, a touch of ham, and a nice, deep, threatening voice. Michael Dorn delivered. The only animated roll I liked more than Mutilor was the REGIS MK.V., which is invincib...

Re: Snowpocalypse 2018

Everyone in Utah loves snow, it's just keeping the roads and streets clear. Otherwise, it's just more water when it melts, kids make snowmen, and the news reporters get to make a few jokes about it all. It may get cold, but that's just an excuse for hot chocolate by the fireplace with the family. Wh...

Re: Trial of Dr. Viper, the Metallikats and the Pastmaster?

In the case of Dr. Viper, I think the court would rule that his 'death' would be considered more of a coma or vegetative state, thus he would be tried as Elrod Purvis. This is considering Dr. Zyme remembered to point out that Viper was Purvis in the first place after being rescued. Mac and Molly, ho...

Re: Snowpocalypse 2018

Looking out my front door, there's somewhere about two, maybe two and a half feet of snow on my lawn. But, here in Utah, this barely qualifies long pants tucked into our shoes. Not even full sleeves, and long pants for the sole purpose of keeping our legs dry. Relatively speaking.
