Re: Is it possible to be a real SWAT Kat?

If the world had laws allowing freelance vigilantes to deal with criminals, assuming they otherwise made every effort to preserve evidence and perhaps use body cameras like the police, it might make some places safer. Hard for the police to miss a masked vigilante or a group showing up with drug dea...

Re: Is it possible to be a real SWAT Kat?

A gauntlet with a retractable shield, possible, even one with folding parts (maybe going with the method Static Shock used with his folding flight disk for the unfolding?). Small non-lethal munitions for it wouldn't be impossible, like the bola, the net, all else fails, beanbag rounds or rubber bull...

Re: What would you like to see in the new series?

That makes me think of the live action Speed Racer movie, specifically the Ninja (Nonja. Terrible what passed for ninjas in that movie.) that tried to punch Pops. Pops catches the fist, spins the Ninja in for a one armed chokehold (And Pops is a good couple of feet taller and at least as much wider ...

Re: Do you ever revise your old writings?

All artists look back on their old works and, sooner or later, see their mistakes, or their weaker areas standing out amidst the better parts. For me, it's everything before chapter ten of Gallade's Arm. From chapter seven on, I think I show improvement, and I feel my personal style developing, but ...

Re: Do you ever revise your old writings?

The number of times I've ended up spending twenty to thirty minutes adding or removing lines, descriptions, or just trying to finagle something, I could have written at least a few sections to a new chapter. I'm not joking. Another odd thing I consider a requirement, I will not, WILL NOT, consider a...

Re: Do you ever revise your old writings?

Every so often when the itch to write hits me, I'll go over old chapters to refresh my understanding of where I was going, and once in a while I'll just redo entire sections because I didn't like how it was pushing in a certain direction. Example, my Digimon fic, I got a bit over twenty chapters pos...

Re: Favorite LOL moments in Swat Kats

I love that, while everyone else is freaking out, Molly just has the pure look of 'Really?' mixed with confusion, like she just watched someone pull off a magic trick and she's trying to figure it out.

I'm with you on consistency. Minor things like coloring can be forgiven if it's close enough, but all you mentioned, that just feels lazy, or possibly rushed through multiple artists and they didn't get the same memo.

Re: How closely should a rebooted Swat Kats follow the original story?

Thing with villains is: they have ways to avoid being killed, usually. Dr. Viper can (likely) regenerate, the Metallikats are remarkably durable and have Hackle to rebuild them, Pastmaster is a lich with time magic, and Dark Kat has fail-safes for his fail-safes so killing him is more a matter of h...

Re: Megakat City's New Benefactor

I imagine Manx calling Callie in and showing her the check, and pulling a Danny DeVito from Twins. 'I mean, just say it ! Fifty mmmillion dollars!' He'd parade that check around before cashing it, praising himself for 'Talking Miss Moorkroft into such a generous donation' like it was a life or death...
