Re: Is it possible to be a real SWAT Kat?
Well actually that series does stretch the limits of reality quite a bit. For example having live video from an underground tunnel without massive amounts of preparation is impossible even today.

Re: How & When Did You First See The Show?
What kind of hardware/software did you use to capture frames back then? It was a Fast F60 MJPEG capable video editing card in an 80 MHz 486 from AMD. The software was Ulead Video studio in whatever old version that came with the card, plus of course Paintshop Pro. The software ran under an operatin...

Re: How & When Did You First See The Show?
Well for me that must have been in 1993 when it first aired on Cartoon Network Europe. We had a satellite dish so we could receive the (back then) impressive couple of dozens of TV channels, I think it was just below 30. One of them was Cartoon Network Europe, the new European version of Cartoon Net...

Actually in some markets, for example the German one, Children's shows must not be interrupted by commercials. So if you want to sell your show there, it needs to be short.Felony wrote:I want to know who thought 15 minute episodes as opposed to 30 minute episodes was a good idea.

Re: S1E02 - The Giant Bacteria
I've just found my recording of the first time this episode aired in Europe. As far as I can recall, this was actually the first episode shown here at all. And yes, it has the scene with the cow in it. And in this original airing there was only English and Spanish sound. Watching this, I think this ...

Re: Where have all the dubs gone?
Well here's the Swedish sound to "The Giant Bacteria". The start is in English and for some reason there's a bit of odd clicking even though I recorded it at -12dBFS.
Anyhow enjoy:

Here's my take on it. Obviously it's animated.
If anybody has cool ideas for such panoramas, please post them.

Re: Where have all the dubs gone?
Well unlike DVDs the options for audio tracks are limited on consumer video cassettes. On VHS you theoretically have 2 longnitudal low quality tracks, which most consumer VCRs will mix into one, as well as 2 HiFi tracks which you can only access with better VCRs. So if you wanted to use them for sev...
