Re: S1E06 - Bride of the Pastmaster

Alternate timelines are possible. Could be that the Pastmaster somehow forced it into a timeline where it was forgotten? Or maybe Megalith was simply lost to the fog of history because it was destroyed around the time the Pastmaster was sealed away, weather and time erased most of the evidence provi...

Re: I have found the most disgusting holiday treat.

I have seen some strange things. Some edible, some decidedly not. Oreo candy canes are now in the limbo state of 'possibly edible' until I try them. Side note: Popeyes Chicken is edible, but not appetising the second day. Why note this? Oreo candy canes don't look or sound appetising. Do they taste ...

Re: Marvel Legend Passed Away

Excelsior is a word used in various trades to indicate superior quality. Stan Lee had a soul of such quality, and an even greater imagination. He has inspired millions, and through his works, he will inspire millions more. Some people break the mold when they're born, but Stan Lee repurposed it to c...

Re: Favorite Swat Kats Weapon?

Favorite Glove-a-Trix weapon, though? Turbokat, easy, buzzsaw missile. Glove, I'm partial to the Mini Match Head. Add an oil pellet launcher and boom, light 'em up. But a retractable buzzsaw and shield combo. Left arm, shield, saw on the right, I'm good to go.

Re: Favorite Villain

Top of my list, The Metallikats. I like that all of the baddies get personalities, but Mac and Molly really stand out to me. They argue, fight, and make fun of one another, but there's no arguing that they're in love. No chemicals in their minds, no real physical reason to be together, but they just...

Re: Thoughts after Re-Discovering

I'd say less phasing out and more, saving Monster of the Week as breather episodes after or between bigger plot points. After establishing that first major foothold, gradually introduce an overarching background plot, then continue that until season arcs can be the standard, with random baddies and ...

Re: Thoughts after Re-Discovering

I think the 90s, and to some extent the 70s and 80s, relied a lot on Monster of the Week, simply because it meant less work for the writers and creators, at least in the long run. No need to really flesh out the characters or world, so there's less work to be done, which made for easier episodes to ...

Re: Is it possible to be a real SWAT Kat?

If the world had laws allowing freelance vigilantes to deal with criminals, assuming they otherwise made every effort to preserve evidence and perhaps use body cameras like the police, it might make some places safer. Hard for the police to miss a masked vigilante or a group showing up with drug dea...

Re: Is it possible to be a real SWAT Kat?

A gauntlet with a retractable shield, possible, even one with folding parts (maybe going with the method Static Shock used with his folding flight disk for the unfolding?). Small non-lethal munitions for it wouldn't be impossible, like the bola, the net, all else fails, beanbag rounds or rubber bull...
