Forum Upgrade

Sometime this week, by Sunday at the latest, I'll be performing a system-wide upgrade to the latest version of phpbb. This will open up the possibility for a number of extensions that can be used without the need for tedious and problematic mods and hacks that are quite honestly a real pain. The trade-off is that there's a 99% chance things are going to look different, as the modified Coralis theme isn't compatible with the upgrade. It'd take me a month to make a theme from scratch, which as much as I'd love to, I have other higher priority projects, so I'll just have to see what modifications I can make to some of the existing ones (Leaning toward the 3.1 "Black" theme with a few alterations). I already tried it out on my local test server and things seemed to go okay, but there may be an hour or so of downtime at the most. Just a heads-up in case that happens. Anyway, your usernames, posts, login credentials, avatars, PMs etc. should be unaffected by all of that, so nothing to worry about on your end

Upgrade done, things seem to be working. Couldn't really get things looking the way they were in the amount of time I had, so went another direction. Will be exploring some cool extensions and plugins in the coming day(s). Login stuff should still be working, but if anyone has any problems logging in you can reach me at megakatcity@gmail.com.

Also, incorporated that typeface from the SWAT Kats Kickstarter book for various headers. In case anyone is curious, it's called Pirulen, and you can get it here.

And, also need to make some new slides as the proportions and sizes are different.
