This is for newcomers to the series. A rough and dirty guide to the characters in the show, intended as a quick all-in-one alternative to the more thorough and detailed Encyclopedia. A WIP.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
THE SWAT KATS:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

T-Bone
Image Image
Real name Chance Furlong. A former Enforcer pilot turned vigilante and son of renowned Enforcer test pilot Cougar Furlong, Chance grew up in Megakat City, often frequenting Pop Perkins' comic book stand (A Bright and Shiny Future). The "muscle" of the SWAT Kats, T-Bone is larger and stronger than his partner and best friend Razor. However, he is often more impatient and hot-tempered, and has a strong dislike of authority, traits which led to him and Jake being thrown out of the Enforcers after they disobeyed an order from Commander Feral and were unfairly blamed for the resulting destruction of Enforcer Headquarters (The Wrath of Dark Kat). He has a strong phobia of bugs (The Ci-Kat-A) and was unable to swim until well into adulthood (Mutation City).

Razor
Image Image
Real name Jake Clawson. Not much is known about Jake's early life compared to Chance. Like his best friend, he was a pilot in the Enforcers, where he served as Chance's weapons officer (W.O.). Like Chance, he was blamed for the destruction of Enforcer Headquarters after their jet crashed into it when they ejected, after disobeying Commander Feral (The Wrath of Dark Kat). When Chance was fired, Jake chose to accompany him. The "brains" of the SWAT Kats, Razor is more even-tempered and laid back than T-Bone and designs most of the duo's weapons and vehicles, and possesses a flair for creativity. Most of the weapons he designs are intended to be non-lethal against anything except for robots and monsters, because Razor has a strong respect for the sanctity of life. The harm or death of innocents enrages him, and he almost quit the SWAT Kats for good once when he thought he'd accidentally injured two elderly joggers (Razor's Edge).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
MEGAKAT CITY'S GOVERNMENT:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Deputy Mayor Calico "Callie" Briggs
Image
Serving alongside Mayor Manx, Callie Briggs is, in many ways, the real mayor in all but name, as she does most of the work around City Hall. Despite being deputy mayor, she is often treated as a mere secretary, often performing errands for Manx that another staffer or even Manx himself might do. She performs her duties (usually) without complaint, however, and has a knack for persuading Manx, often serving as his conscience. She cares deeply about Megakat City and its people, and uses her authority for selfless good whenever she can. This includes some not entirely legal means; at some point in the past, Callie was given a secret communicator that allows her to call the SWAT Kats in times of trouble, which is often; her position as deputy mayor makes her a frequent target for villains. Despite their status as vigilantes, Callie believes the city needs them, and often butts heads with the Enforcers, especially Commander Feral, over the matter.

Mayor Manx
Image
The selfish and cowardly mayor of Megakat City, Manx has somehow served as mayor for ten terms at the beginning of the series (The Giant Bacteria), and even manages to win re-election and serve an eleventh term (The Ghost Pilot). He banks primarily on his family name, as his great-grandfather was a famous war hero (The Ghost Pilot). In addition to his other negative traits, Manx is very lazy; he would rather play golf (at which he cheats) than actually run the city, often fobbing important jobs off on Deputy Mayor Callie Briggs, treating her as a mere secretary. He only really shows interest in his duties when there's money to be made or if something is going to be named after him. He's gone to great lengths to court Siamese businessman Mr. Young to invest in Megakat City (Destructive Nature, The Ci-Kat-A and Volcanus Erupts!), and has had a park named after him (The Giant Bacteria) and a wing of the museum dedicated to his family's history (Katastrophe).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
THE ENFORCERS:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Commander Ulysses Feral
Image
Loud, hot-tempered, passionate and mostly humorless, Ulysses Feral serves as the overall commanding officer of the Enforcers, the highly militaristic police force that defends Megakat City from harm. Although nominally a good guy, Feral's personality makes him offputting to many, and his demand for unquestioned loyalty and obedience often puts him at odds with his own subordinates, such as his niece Felina, and two of his own ex-pilots who he unfairly blamed for what was in fact his own mistake and threw off the force. He considers the SWAT Kats a menace; lawless vigilantes who cause more harm than good, and he especially hates how they often outperform the Enforcers, succeeding where he and his men fail. This attitude puts him at odds with Callie Briggs; the two cannot agree on the SWAT Kats. Nevertheless, Feral cares about the city as much as Callie does, and for all his negative traits, he is exceptionally brave and never asks his men to do anything he isn't prepared to do himself. As a result, he can frequently he found leading from the front.

Lieutenant Felina Feral
Image
A brave and somewhat reckless Enforcer officer, Felina is Commander Feral's niece. She has a gung-ho, devil-may-care attitude that grates on her uncle, who dislikes the way she does things both because he prefers everything be by the book and because he cares deeply for her and constantly worries about her safety. She is often insubordinate and disobeys orders, insisting that her skills mean she shouldn't be kept on the sidelines (Mutation City). Commander Feral once considered firing her for her insubordination, but elected not to, both because his brother would never speak to him again if he did and because he'd come to recognize that, despite her reckless way of doing things, Felina is an excellent Enforcer (A Bright and Shiny Future). Unlike her uncle, she likes the SWAT Kats and believes that the Enforcers should work with them, instead of against them, and when the situation calls for it, she can and will work with the vigilantes for the greater good, regardless of how it makes her uncle feel (Razor's Edge, Caverns of Horror).

Lieutenant Commander Steel
Image
Commander Feral's second in command. In the event that anything should happen to Feral, it falls to Steel to take command of the Enforcers in his absence. A young and ambitious schemer and bootlicker, Steel has at least once shown an unwillingness to wait his turn for command and arranged for Feral to be captured by Dark Kat and possibly even killed (The Wrath of Dark Kat). He did at least once take over under legitimate circumstances, after Feral was captured by Madkat, although his brief tenure as acting commander consisted mostly of making himself comfortable in his superior's office and ignoring robbery complaints (Enter the Madkat). He is bizarrely skeptical despite living in a world routinely plagued by magic and mutations, dismissing antique store owner Katzmer as "a crank" when he tried to explain how to defeat Madkat (Enter the Madkat), and, despite his ruthless willingness to sell his commanding officer out, he himself is the antithesis of Commander Feral; a loud braggart when safely behind his men, he is a spineless coward in combat (The Wrath of Dark Kat).

Sergeant Talon
Image
An Enforcer sergeant who serves as one of Commander Feral's most loyal and able-bodied men. He is often seen at Feral's side, serving as his aide, and rarely speaks except to growl out orders or a prim "Yes sir!" in response to whatever Feral says.

Sergeant #2
Image
A second Enforcer sergeant who sometimes serves as Commander Feral's aide when Talon isn't around (Katastrophe) and also performed the same duties for Steel during his brief tenure as acting commander (Enter the Madkat).

Sergeant Smitty
Image
The sergeant in charge of the evidence room in Enforcer Headquarters (Katastrophe).

Dr. Konway
Image
A biochemist working in the bio-tech lab at Enforcer Headquarters (Mutation City).

Burge and King
Image Image
Two Enforcer pilots. They destroyed the Pastmaster's reanimated skeleton minions and took the burial chest to Dr. Sinian the museum (The Pastmaster Always Rings Twice). Later, the two participated in the Enforcers' attempt to retake the Megakat Tower from Dr. Viper (Destructive Nature).

Enforcer Sergeants
Image
Uniformed Enforcer officers who serve a variety of functions from commanding important installations (Night of the Dark Kat) to patrolling the streets of Megakat City (Enter the Madkat) to serving as security in the holding cells at Enforcer Headquarters (Night of the Dark Kat). Notable sergeants include Talon and Smitty (Katastrophe).

Enforcer Pilots
Image
Multi-disciplined aviators who fly the Enforcers' jets and choppers. Notable pilots include Burge and King (The Pastmaster Always Rings Twice, Destructive Nature), as well as (formerly) Chance Furlong and Jake Clawson (The Wrath of Dark Kat). Pilots have the most dangerous job in the Enforcer ranks, as their aircraft are routinely shot down, crash or otherwise get destroyed somehow, and the pilots don't always manage to successfully bail out. It's possible that they see themselves as the elite of the Enforcers due to the high-risk nature of their duties, as the leader of Unit 1, when dealing with the Pastmaster's giant mummies, arrogantly channeled Commander Feral and told the intervening SWAT Kats (The Deadly Pyramid).

Enforcer Commandos
Image
The rank and file of the Enforcers, dedicated troopers wearing riot gear and armed with laser rifles. They crew the Enforcers' Peacekeeper tanks and perform a variety of duties from protecting important installations from attack to serving as infantry and assisting in arresting suspects. Brave and fearless, they are always willing to throw themselves into harm's way to defend Megakat City, even if they aren't always successful. As a result of their dangerous job, they suffer a high casualty rate, but not as high as their airborne comrades, the Enforcers' pilot corps.

Enforcer Dispatchers
Image
Control room operators who keep Enforcer Headquarters in touch with their units in the field and alert on-duty Enforcers to crimes in progress.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
VILLAINS:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Dark Kat
Image
The SWAT Kats' oldest and most dangerous foe, possibly even their arch-enemy. It was while chasing him that then Enforcer pilots Chance Furlong and Jake Clawson crashed their jet into Enforcer Headquarters and were thrown off the force (The Wrath of Dark Kat). Dark Kat's name is well-earned; he is an enormous kat with purple fur swathed in dark robes and speaks with a booming, unearthly voice that commands fear and respect, even from other villains. An arrogant egomaniac dedicated to anarchism with nothing but contempt for justice, order and goodness, Dark Kat operates out of various lairs in and around Megakat City, and when he isn't simply committing crimes for the sake of it, such as amassing large amounts of money (Night of the Dark Kat), he is bent on destroying Megakat City so that he can rebuild it as Dark Kat City, his "capitol of crime" over which he himself will reign supreme. Although he possesses immense physical strength, he prefers to operate from the shadows, and is aided in his crimes by pink, demon-like creatures called Creeplings, and occasionally by other purple-furred individuals called Kommando-Kats (Razor's Edge). In addition to these minions, Dark Kat has a knack for persuading other villains to work alongside one another, and himself, for a common goal, usually the defeat of the SWAT Kats (Night of the Dark Kat, Katastrophe).

Dr. Viper
Image Image
Born Elrod Purvis, Dr. Viper is one of the SWAT Kats' longest and deadliest enemies. Dr. Purvis once worked as Dr. N. Zyme's assistant at Megakat Biochemical Labs, and aided him in creating Viper Mutagen 368. In an attempt to steal the formula for himself, Purvis fell down a flight of stairs and died, spilling the mutagen all over himself in the process. The mutagen reanimated him, but it also mutated him into a half kat, half snake monster who took the name Dr. Viper (The Origin of Dr. Viper). He lives in the Dead Forest, a desolate area deep in Megakat Swamp (The Giant Bacteria). He is extremely sadistic and delights in the suffering of others, and his single driving goal is to transform the "ugly" city into a festering, mutation-filled wasteland (Destructive Nature, Mutation City) and make everyone else a mutant like himself. In furtherance of this, he has created many monsters, all of whom obey him without question, and even once turned himself into a skyscraper-sized beast (Mutation City).

The Metallikats
Image Image Image Image
Husband and wife duo of criminals turned killer robots. In life, Mac was a ruthless gangster with a scar across one cheek, and Molly was much taller, with wild, unkempt auburn hair. The Manges were arrested and sent to prison on Alkatraz Island (The Metallikats). During this time, their gang was taken over by their former associate Katscratch. After an attempt to bribe Mayor Manx in exchange for a parole failed, the Manges escaped the island in a rowboat, intent on vengeance against Katscratch for taking over their gang and Manx for denying their parole. Only later did they learn that it was in fact Callie who'd intercepted the bribe and denied the Manges' parole. A passing ship hit the pair's rowboat, and they were drowned. Their corpses were found by Professor Hackle. Not realizing who they were, he transferred their minds into robot bodies to save their lives. Dubbing themselves the Metallikats, Mac and Molly broke out of Hackle's lab, killed Katscratch and attempted to also kill Mayor Manx - and Callie after they learned she, not Manx, had turned their bribe down. They were beaten by the SWAT Kats (The Metallikats). Returned to Hackle's custody, the well-meaning scientist attempted to program them to be good, but they escaped his lab again (Metal Urgency) and have since routinely plagued Megakat City. When not trying to get revenge against Callie, they commit traditional robberies (Katastrophe, Unlikely Alloys) and show little interest in taking over the city like Dark Kat and Dr. Viper. However, in one alternate future, they did instigate a robot revolution and ruled "Metallikat City" as ruthless dictators (A Bright and Shiny Future).

The Pastmaster
Image
An ancient sorcerer from the dark ages. He was buried for 800 years until grave robbers Jack and Tom released him from his imprisonment accidentally (The Pastmaster Always Rings Twice). Using his spellbook, the Tome of Time, he can open gateways through time called time vortexes. He also possesses a magic pocketwatch which can fire blasts of destructive energy or even reanimate the dead. Through some unknown means, possibly magical, the Pastmaster has total control over any creature he deliberately summons through one of his time vortexes. His evil plans vary. Loathing the modern era, he seeks to return Megakat City to his former dark age state, Megalith City. He is also madly in love with Megalith City's ruler, Queen Callista, and once tried to force her to marry him by threatening to destroy her kingdom (Bride of the Pastmaster). In modern times, he sees her descendant Callie Briggs' resemblance to her and has begun to focus on her as a surrogate for Callista (The Deadly Pyramid).

Hard Drive
Image
An ambitious technology thief who uses a special "Surge Coat" which grants him various electrical powers, including the ability to turn himself into a living current of electricity to flow through powerlines and phone cords. He teamed up with Dark Kat to frame the SWAT Kats by stealing the Turbokat and using it to attack buildings (Night of the Dark Kat), and later stole the experimental Behemoth Super Tank from Puma-Dyne and went on a rampage with it (Metal Urgency). Both times, he was defeated by the SWAT Kats. Later, he returned with a new Surge Coat and used a stolen Puma-Dyne anti-weapons scrambler in an attempt to rob a gold shipment from a heavily-defended high speed railway.

Rex Shard
Image Image Image Image
A convicted criminal serving a "nine-life sentence" at the Megakat Maximum Security Prison. He was chosen by Warden Meece to test the Gemkat 6000, but foolishly attempted to open it to gain access to the diamonds it'd mined inside its storage compartment, causing a huge explosion that turned him into a kat made of living crystal with the ability to turn whatever he touched, including other kats, into lifeless crystal "statues" (Chaos in Crystal).

The Red Lynx
Image Image
An enemy ace from Mega War II, simultaneously renowned as one of the greatest pilots who ever lived... and one of the most evil, notorious for his ruthlessness in aerial combat. He was finally shot down by his rival, the Blue Manx. Years later, his biplane was dredged up by dockworkers building a marina and put on display at the Megakat City Museum of History. His ghost possessed and stole the plane, intent on hunting down and killing Mayor Manx, the descendant of the enemy pilot who'd shot him down (The Ghost Pilot).

Madkat
Image
An insane jester from the dark ages. He lost his mind after another, funnier jester took his place, and was imprisoned by the king and queen and one of their knights. Hundreds of years later, his spirit resided inside of a jack-in-the-box (or "kat-in-the-box") in an antique store. When escaped lunatic and former comedian Lenny Ringtail broke in to hide from the Enforcers, Madkat's ghost persuaded him to let him possess him. Using Ringtail's body, Madkat instituted a reign of terror as he sought to hunt down and imprison Mayor Manx, Callie Briggs, Commander Feral and comedian David Litterbin, using them as proxies for the king, queen and knight who'd imprisoned him in life, and the jester who'd taken his place respectively. He possessed a magic cane that could change into different things such as spiked dice, a saw blade yo-yo, a paddle ball and razor-edged playing cards, and was also capable of shapeshifting into different, Madkat-themed things, such as a motorcycle, a building, an enormous bouncy ball and a giant octopus (Enter the Madkat).

Lenny Ringtail
Image
A comedian who went insane after losing the top spot of Megakat City's number one comic to his rival David Litterbin and was committed to the Megakat Asylum for the Insane and Katatonic. There he stewed in his hatred for Litterbin, egged on by the guard who was assigned to watch him. After enduring too much abuse, Litterbin overpowered his guard and escaped during a power outage. Hiding in an antique store, he happened upon a kat-in-the-box haunted by an ancient jester, Madkat, with a similar life story to his. He was persuaded to let Madkat possess him in order to get revenge against Litterbin, and the two became fused into one being (Enter the Madkat).

Ci-Kat-A Queen
Image
A pregnant female Ci-Kat-A who came to the kat planet aboard MASA's Kat Sat 1. After biting and taking over Dr. Street and a guard, she laid eggs in the space center's reactor, spawning several children before eating nuclear material at the Megakat Nuclear Plant and growing to gigantic proportions. Afterwards, she built a nest in the penthouse of the Megakat Tower, from which she and her offspring intended to conquer the world (The Ci-Kat-A).

Dr. Harley Street
Image Image Image
An astrophysicist employed at MASA who was bitten by the Ci-Kat-A queen, who hitched a ride to the SWAT Kats' planet aboard Kat Sat 1. After being bitten, Street developed insectoid compound eyes and obeyed the alien queen's every command, slowly turning into a Ci-Kat-A himself (The Ci-Kat-A).

Turmoil
Image
A ruthless aerial extortionist. Commanding the airship Sky-Lion and the all-female fighter corps Omega Squadron, Turmoil appeared in the skies above Megakat City one day. Using a devastating weapon known as the Vertigo Beam, which caused pilots to become disoriented and crash, Turmoil claimed ownership of the skies and demanded a tribute of $2 million in gold. After T-Bone outflew her elite pilots, she fell in love with him and attempted to persuade him to join her side as her flight commander (Cry Turmoil).

The Evil SWAT Kats
Image Image
Evil counterparts of T-Bone and Razor from an alternate dimension. The antithesis of their good selves from the "regular" dimension, these SWAT Kats were bigger, meaner and tougher, and also exceptionally dumber, prone to clumsiness and arguing with each other at the drop of a hat. Instead of being vigilantes fighting for justice, they were their version of Megakat City's most wanted criminals and served as Dark Kat's personal thugs (The Dark Side of the SWAT Kats).

Evil Callie Briggs
Image
An evil version of Deputy Mayor Briggs from an alternate dimension. Alongside the evil SWAT Kats, she conspired against the Enforcers in a bid to use the Mega-Bomb to blow up Enforcer Headquarters (The Dark Side of the SWAT Kats).

Lord Mutilor
Image
An evil alien space pirate. Using a stolen Aqueon water freighter, he and his henchmen came to the SWAT Kats' planet intending to drain it of all of its water to sell to a race of aliens called the Sahavi (When Strikes Mutilor).

First Officer Traag
Image
Mutilor's sycophantic right-hand man (When Strikes Mutilor).

Morbulus
Image
An evil pilot who literally had eyes in the back of his head. He was one of the SWAT Kats first enemies, perpetrating the "refinery reign of terror," in which he flew around blowing up Megakat City's oil refineries using his fighter jet. After being defeated by the SWAT Kats, he escaped from the Enforcers and fell in with Dr. Viper, who mutated him into a giant bacteria monster to help the evil scientist steal Katalyst 99 from Megakat Biochemical Labs. The monster proved able to divide like a huge amoeba, creating multiple monsters.

Zed
Image Image Image Image
Originally just a repair device invented by Dr. Greenbox, the device gained sentience after the Metallikats used it to repair themselves. Naming itself "Zed," it initially assisted the Metallikats in their efforts to kill the SWAT Kats before striking out on its own, determined to ascertain its "true purpose." As it went, it tore apart machines, buildings and vehicles to build an ever larger, always changing armored body around itself. It eventually fused with its creator Dr. Greenbox and attempted to use the Mega-Beam to destroy Megakat City (Unlikely Alloys).

Chopshop
Image
Pink-haired helicopter pilot with an annoying laugh who robs the Megakat Trade Towers (SWAT Kats Unplugged).

Katscratch
Image
A mobster and former associate of Mac and Molly Mange. When they were sent to Alkatraz, he opportunistically took over their gang. He was killed by the duo in revenge after they were turned into robots by Professor Hackle (The Metallikats).

Fango
Image
Another mobster and a member of the Manges' former gang, which was taken over by Katscratch. After Mac killed Katscratch in revenge, Fango and the other mobsters tried to realign themselves with the now robotic Manges in order to save themselves, but the Metallikats deemed them traitors and condemned them to die in a burning building. However, they were saved by the SWAT Kats (The Metallikats).

Mobsters
Image Image Image Image
The other former members of Mac and Molly's old gang. Along with Fango, they turned against the Manges when they went to prison and allied themselves with Katscratch. After the Metallikats killed Katscratch and trapped the group inside a burning building, the seemingly doomed criminals were rescued by the SWAT Kats.

Creeplings
Image
Pink, gargoyle-like creatures that serve Dark Kat. Their origins are unknown. Although particularly unintelligent, they possess enough strength to lift full-grown adult kats and thrown them, and can be fierce fighters.

Kommando-Kats
Image
Dark Kat's masked, silent, purple-furred henchmen (Razor's Edge).

Elderly Man and Woman
Image Image Image Image
Ostensibly an elderly couple out jogging, these two were in reality two young petty thugs hired by Dark Kat to pretend to be injured by one of the SWAT Kats' stray missiles in order to destroy Razor's self-confidence (Razor's Edge).

Ci-Kat-A Drones
Image
The children of the alien queen. Much smaller than their mother, they are nevertheless intelligent and fierce fighters with slashing claws, a piercing shriek capable of breaking glass and a venomous bite that causes the victim to be turned into a bug-eyed zombie mentally controlled by the queen (The Ci-Kat-A).

Converted Kats
Image Image Image
MASA guards and Enforcer pilots bitten and taken over by the Ci-Kat-A. Like Dr. Street, in addition to being mentally controlled by the queen, they're slowly turning into Ci-Kat-A themselves (The Ci-Kat-A).

Robots
Image
Worker robots designed by Professor Hackle. Using the central robot control matrix, the Metallikats reprogrammed them to be evil (A Bright and Shiny Future).

Alien Guard Captain
Image
The leader of Mutilor's guards (When Strikes Mutilor).

Alien Guards and Pilots
Image
Mutilor's henchmen who serve aboard the stolen Aqueon ship and fly his Marauder attack ships.

Lieutenant
Image
Turmoil's second in command aboard the Sky-Lion (Cry Turmoil).

Omega Squadron Pilots
Image Image Image Image
Turmoil's entirely female corps of fighter pilots (Cry Turmoil).

Sky-Lion Security Guards
Image Image Image Image
Turmoil's guards aboard her airship, the Sky-Lion. Most if not all of them were female (Cry Turmoil).

Special Forces Guards
Image Image Image
Turmoil's more elite guards aboard the Sky-Lion. Like the regular guards, almost all of them appeared to be female (Cry Turmoil).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
MONSTERS:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Zombie Kats
Image Image
Two kat skeletons resurrected by the Pastmaster to chase away Jack and Tom. They served as his minions until being killed by Enforcer pilots Burge and King (The Pastmaster Always Rings Twice).

Sabertoothed Tiger Zombie
Image
A stuffed sabertoothed tiger on display at the museum which was brought to life by the Pastmaster. It was killed when the SWAT Kats encased it in blobs of liquid cement from the Turbokat's cement machine gun (The Pastmaster Always Rings Twice).

Megasaurus rex
Image
A giant dinosaur summoned through a time vortex by the Pastmaster. It carried him through Megakat City until it was downed by gas grenades by the Enforcers (The Pastmaster Always Rings Twice).

Pterodactyls
Image
Additional prehistoric creatures summoned through a time vortex by the Pastmaster after losing his Megasaurus in a tar pit. One carried him to City Hall. Several engaged and defeated a squadron of Enforcer choppers (The Pastmaster Always Rings Twice).

Plesiosaurs
Image
Prehistoric reptiles which briefly menace the SWAT Kats a few times when they're knocked into the past by the Megasaurus (The Pastmaster Always Rings Twice).

Long-Necked Flying Reptiles
Image
A quartet of pterodactly-like flying prehistoric reptiles which the SWAT Kats have to battle in the age of the dinosaurs (The Pastmaster Always Rings Twice).

Bacteria Monster
Image Image Image
A huge purple blob created by Dr. Viper when he mutated Morbulus. Because Morbulus had eyes in the back of his head, the monster had four eyes. Used by Viper in his attempt to steal Katalyst 99, The creature proved capable of dividing like an amoeba when hit, resulting in three different monsters, one with two eyes and two with one eye.

Rovers
Image
Two-legged Plantimals that serve as the main force of Dr. Viper's mutant army when he takes over the Megakat Tower (Destructive).

Flyers
Image
Flying Plantimals that spit acid and protect the Megakat Tower, and with it, Dr. Viper and the spore pod (Destructive Nature).

Behemoth
Image
A gigantic Plantimal which guards the front entrance of the Megakat Tower after Dr. Viper takes it over. When Burge and King dump weed killer on it, it mutates and grows larger (Destructive Nature).

Elevator Beastie
Image
A huge Venus flytrap-like Plantimal that chases Razor and Callie up the elevator shaft inside the Megakat Tower (Destructive Nature).

Oil-Sucking Eels
Image
Giant sea monsters that eat crude oil. Two of them attacked two different KatCo supertankers and had to be fought by the SWAT Kats (Bride of the Pastmaster).

Dragon
Image
A huge fire-breathing dragon used by the Pastmaster to abduct Queen Callista (Bride of the Pastmaster).

Cyclopes
Image Image Image
Dark age mythological monsters used by the Pastmaster in his campaign of terror against Megalith City. There were three. The first had a yellow eye and a horn. The second yellow eye and no horn. The third had a red eye and a horn (Bride of the Pastmaster).

Harpies
Image
Two winged, dragon-like creatures used by the Pastmaster. They were sent to kidnap Queen Callista from her bedroom (Bride of the Pastmaster).

Mushroom Monster
Image
Dr. Viper's half kat, half mushroom assistant who was capable of liquefying himself to ooze under doors and through tight spaces and reform himself after being blown apart. He was used in the scientist's attempt to steal Katalyst 100 and remained with him during his shaky alliance with Dark Kat and the Metallikats (Katastrophe).

Mutants
Image Image
Various mutated animals, primarily frogs, snakes and lizards, created when Dr. Viper flooded Megakat City with Katalyst X-63.

Gargoyle
Image
A gargoyle on Old Megakat Bridge brought to life by the Pastmaster (A Bright and Shiny Future).

Scorpion Leader
Image
The leader of a group of giant scorpions mutated by toxic waste illegally dumped underground by Tiger Conklin. He was far bigger than his brethren and lived in a pit deep in the caverns and the other, smaller scorpions brought him victims to eat. In addition to being larger than the other scorpions, he was capable of extending his neck out to great lengths (Caverns of Horror).

Giant Scorpions
Image
Only slightly smaller than their leader, these massive scorpions were also mutated from ordinary scorpions by Conklin's illegally dumped toxic waste. Serving their leader, they kidnapped several innocent miners and fed them to him in his pit. They also abducted Ann Gora, but she was rescued by the SWAT Kats and Felina before sharing the miners' fate (Caverns of Horrors).

Katchu Picchu
Image
Ancient ruler of the lost pyramid, now a mindless beast under the Pastmaster's control (The Deadly Pyramid).

Mummy Commandos
Image
Giant mummies. Formerly servants of Katchu Picchu, they serve the Pastmaster because he controls the jeweled headdress. They're armed with ancient "laser" weapons in the shape of scorpions and are indestructible except by light (The Deadly Pyramid).

Volcanus
Image
An ancient fire demon (Volcanus Erupts!).

CIVILIANS:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Ann Gora
Image
A reporter for Kat's Eye News, Ann Gora always goes where the action is. Ambitious to the point of seeming reckless, Ann is devoted to bringing her viewers every detail about any story she's covering. She is a longtime supporter of the SWAT Kats, although whether it's because she believes in what they do (Metal Urgency) or because she thinks they make for interesting viewing (Chaos in Crystal) is initially about fifty-fifty. However, she eventually comes to see them as a definite force for good (Caverns of Horror).
Jonny K.
Image
Ann Gora's longsuffering cameraman. Ann rarely goes anywhere without him.
Professor Hackle
Image
A kindly, idealistic former weapons designer. Professor Hackle worked at Puma-Dyne until he tired of designing weapons and wanted to turn his scientific genius towards helping katkind instead of harming it (The Metallikats, Metal Urgency). His specialty was robotics. He designed the Macro-Bots Goliath and Prowler (Metal Urgency) and also developed a process by which dead kats' minds could be preserved in robot bodies, which he used on two corpses he found washed up on his private beach, not realizing they were escaped criminals Mac and Molly Mange (The Metallikats). This is a very good and through guide! But where did you get that Chance is the son of Cougar Furlong?
RazorLoveCait This is an amazing guide for "newcomers" like me. See how I put "" because I have been in to SWAT Kats for a year, and at this point I have already finished the series and now a lot about it. But still, this is a very good way to refresh my mind about my knowledge of the show. Thanks Koosh! Koosh kicks tail! Koosh is radically awesome!v chancestareyesicon
The name of his father was one of the few little tidbits about Revolution the Tremblays let slip, from what I can remember. Cougar is a former Enforcer test pilot and went missing or something.
