Music that could fit the SK universe
Music that could fit the SK universe
On the swatkats.us forum, someone had posted a soundtrack thread, which had to do with music that could potentially fit the Swat Kats universe. I figured, why not try that here?
Being a drummer, I watch a lot of drum videos. I ran into this piece by Thomas Lang, which could fit somewhere in the show. I'm thinking maybe a scene where they're in the hangar working on some really big project.

Though it's not a very original idea, I've always thought that Fuel by Metallica would be a good fit, particularly during the guitar solo. I'd imagine it'd be good for a chase or aerial combat sequence.

Re: Music that could fit the SK universe
While I was writing my fan fiction story War Games I often listened to music from Blue Stahli and Celldweller between my writing sessions and always had the feeling that it would fit into a modernized SWAT Kats movie or series quite well.
Here is the list of links to the tracks I think that would fit into the SWAT Kats universe:
Blue Stahli - Let's Go
Blue Stahli - Rapid Fire
Blue Stahli - Railgun
Blue Stahli - Ready Aim Fire
Blue Stahli - Enemy
Blue Stahli - Not Over Til We Say So
Celldweller - Wings of Icarus
Celldweller - Earth Scraper
Celldweller - Razorface
Celldweller - Ghosts
Celldweller - Hyperion
It was actually a SWAT Kats fan video using the "Wings of Icarus"-track which made me aware of Celldweller and his buddy Blue Stahli in the first place. I think the video is one of the better fan made trailers, except for the first 45 seconds where audio from the show is mixed in which doesn't sound well together with the soundtrack the way it has been mixed in.

That would be epic dogfight music, sir~MoDaD wrote:Though it's not a very original idea, I've always thought that Fuel by Metallica would be a good fit, particularly during the guitar solo. I'd imagine it'd be good for a chase or aerial combat sequence.
That sort of "Stop the planet from exploding" music XD
That is a pretty SWAG soundtrack.Mr. Goodkat wrote:While I was writing my fan fiction story War Games I often listened to music from Blue Stahli and Celldweller between my writing sessions and always had the feeling that it would fit into a modernized SWAT Kats movie or series quite well...
I feel this one because... well... it's what Chance always wanted to be https://youtu.be/mrcYosMahG4 I wouldn't use the following as a soundtrack for the actual show per se but it helps encapsulate the character's sentiment quite well especially when I'm drawing. Liking this for Razor in Razor's Edge https://youtu.be/bqeUO7od_KM ...and because I totally crush on T-Bone's flying https://youtu.be/KPeTctnLt4Y because he ain't just flying the TurboKat. When he's in the cockpit he IS the TurboKat.

Yeah, imagine the last episode, if Zed had gotten any bigger. That song could pop up when the SWAT Kats start wrecking Zed from the inside.TazKat wrote:That sort of "Stop the planet from exploding" music XD

There's a song I felt could work for a finale scene, like the swatkats are gearing up for one epic showdown that will end the series (alas it ended too soon) I feel it fits, particularly the lyrics "We've come too far to give up who we are"
