Gosh I love this thread. I don't have much to add to it, but it really reminds me of how gorgeous this show is at times and how beautiful and spooky some of these backgrounds are.

Echoing Ty-Chou, this thread is so much fun. I love all the panoramas showing off the series' background art.

The second one there, showing the full Megakat Tower with Viper's eyes superimposed at the top, is probably one of my favorite pans in the entire series.

Hopefully the SWAT Kats can get Dark Ages parking validation:

Here's one from A Bright and Shiny Future after the SWAT Kats are told about the AWESOME way they die:

Crashing into the clock tower of Megakat City Hall is most definitely an epic way to go down swinging.

"We're out of time!"
"Nope...we're about to crash into a whole lot of it."

Future Kats from Left To Right:
-Amazing her Glasses survived everything, now she's a hot grandma
-WHY ISN'T HE DEAD YET?!
-Somebody forgot to give him his pills this morning, he still thinks he's the mayor!
-No joke here. Move along.
-Like any good prune, he's wrinkled with age. "No more chopper backup? Then I need to carry the biggest gun."

Definitely a top contender for greatest sequence on the show.

I was going to mention that the future in Metallikat City is so harsh it's also aged his toupée...but if you look earlier:

Not really sure why he didn't stick with his regular one...?

And, I should also mention your way of navigating the narrative quandaries caused by this episode, particularly in Digital Divide, were a nice touch, along with your suggestions elsewhere about how the timing of episodes (Gen I vs. Gen II Turbokat) could come into play.
