Instant Messengers

Post by MoDaD » Thu May 29, 2014 11:19 pm

I may be dating myself a little bit even by asking this question, but does anyone still use Instant Messengers? The reason I ask is I'm tempted to setup up a new one, but was curious which ones people in the SWAT Kats fandom use.

I have several, but I notice out of all of them, only one or two people are ever on at a time. It is possible these messengers are being phased out. Usually when I meet new people I don't end up talking to them through IM.

I use Google Talk. I love it, but sadly most of my friends don't use it much anymore. I guess wih the advent of cell phones people don't chat online much anymore.

I have used AIM for many years now, though I'm not on much anymore to use it. My husband loves using face time lol I do not because seems like he can't hear me half the time... plus I don't like looking up his nose XDDD as he gets too close to the darn thing sometimes.

I've used AIM for several years. I'm not a super huge online chatter and I don't talk to too many people on it, but I really like it. It's easy to use and my computer likes it. I had to use Yahoo messenger once to chat with a friend who insisted on using nothing else and my computer acted like it was the most complicated program it had ever tried to run. So I'll stick with AIM.
