Watching the walkthrough of an old RPG game (Vampire the Masquerade: bloodlines) I found a billboard with a weird spelling. Oh wait, "kool kats"!

That was unexpected yet funny.

It's probably just a coincidence. "Kat" is often implemented as part of
xtreme kool letterz.
Still,
cool kool find!

It certainly is a coincidence.

I am bad at wordplay but suppose "kats" is a contraction of "cigarettes". Anyway it gave new forces to my interest.
P.S. The article about kool letterz was hilarious. It was said on the forum about the koolness of such a spelling, but that article was more than conclusive.

At least you're fluent in English, I'd never be able to conduct wordplay in Belarusian!
