Some rough sketches, working on a design for Reyna Cascabel, the offspring of Viper and my OC Carmen.

It's tricky: I want to make it clear she's related to Viper, as opposed to a generic "cute monster girl", but still have her look feminine and (potentially) attractive. I ended up borrowing a lot of inspiration from Maleficent, especially in giving her a more prominent chin (one of the crossed out doodles is actually a direct redraw of a Maleficent screenshot, as a way to test out that face shape).

It's still not a finalized design, but I think it's a good start. Also, someday I will draw canon characters too, I swear!
