Can you give a bit more information on this project for those of us not on Discord much or at all? Such as why you decided to redub an episode, why you chose the episode Katastrophe, is this a serious redub or is it like Dragonball Z Abridged, who all is involved, how you went about editing, etc? Wow I feel like Ann Gora here. LOL
1: To answer your first question, I was going through youtube and noticed how there weren't many fandubs for SWAT Kats and thought "wouldn't it be neat if there was a full episode dubbed by us?" And that's how the fandub started.
2: I chose Katastrophe at first because I thought it was a good fun episode, then I noticed it aired on December 4th and decided it would be cool to release it on the original airdate.
3: It is a serious redub, I do NOT have the skills to do an abridged series because that requires manipulating mouth flaps which I can NOT do at all. xD
4: As to who's in my cast, I cannot disclose that information yet because I want to wait until the episode is released so it can be a surprise. But I can tell you it's some well-known fans~.
5: My go-to editing software is Sony Vegas Pro 12, it's really helpful because I can zoom in on a scene and be able to put in a sound effect at the exact moment I need it. One of my friends Sentral introduced me to some good music, which will also be in the episode. I got all of my sound effects from youtube as well.
